Once a visitor's center for a public wildlife preservation park, this lodge has become a refuge for those whose families sought to escape the devastation of the apocalypse. Over time the inhabitants acquired vegetables and fruits to be grown and animals to be raised. Returning to a simpler life to avoid the misery of a society that's constantly decaying while at the same time always trying to repair itself.
The farmers do sell their produce at Bayshore Markets as well as on location if you you're in the neighborhood.
The perimeter of the area is fenced with the "visitor lodge" being closer to the lake. There is also a house on the property that once belonged to the family that helped maintain the park which is now occupied by the owners of the farm and members of their small conclave. They do have patrols, and the area does have traps around the perimeter. The safest way to get in is through the entrance/exit road. You'll likely get stopped for a search and questioned for the reason of your visit.
